What is betulin?
After the hydrothermal treatment of birch logs, the logs are debarked, resulting in bark residue. A portion of the birch bark is then sent to Betulin Lab, where it is further processed and refined for subsequent use and processing.
Birch bark extract is found in the outer layer of birch bark. It is a natural compound with antibacterial and cell regeneration properties. Its light brown crystalline powder contains triterpenoids and phenol-containing components, including tannins, sugars, etc. The extract has been extensively studied worldwide in recent decades, finding many unique application possibilities in healthcare, beauty, food and other industries.
