Since 1986, the small French village of Ailly-sur-Noye, located 15 kilometers from Amiens, is hosting a grand, historic show called “Le Soufle de la Terre” or ” Breath of the Earth”.

Leaded by director Dominique Martens, more than 850 volunteers once a year make a fantastic performance under the open sky, devoted to a 20,000-year-long history – from the Ice Age to the present. Glamorous costumes, shadow and light illuminations, music, emotions and magic of the moment – it’s estimated that this year over 700,000 visitors will enjoy the show that will be held every Friday and Saturday evening from 23 August to 21 September. And there are going to be a significant role also for one very modern material – Latvijas Finieris will deliver more than 1000 m² of Riga Tex birch plywood for the stage constructions! Let’s meet where the history comes to life!
